OUR WELLNESS INSTRUCTOR
SIMON CULLEN is an International Instructor and Therapist for Deep Tissue and Whole Life Coaching & CST, Raw Food Instructor, Meditation & Mindfulness Coach. His approach to wellness and health stems from his own life and seeking the best teachings and training globally.
Having run his own practice for 12 years and worked along with the ISHSKO Centre, GAA teams in Galway & Mayo; and has been part of the team with research and development of an EU lead initiative program for the EU 50+ seniors Healthy Active Living Lifestyle. Simon now brings this wealth of experience to Kelly’s Resort & Spa. His philosophy is to train while treating his clients, empowering the patient to master their own body and create the perfect day for the perfect life.

CST (Cranial Sacral Therapy)
Like the heartbeat pulse, the cranial-sacral system has a rhythm and can be felt throughout the body. Irregularities will be manipulated to bring balance back to your rhythm, using soft-touch working with the fascia and energetically field of the body, releasing any emotional or physical trauma—a beautifully relaxing treatment for both body, mind and soul.
WOLFE Deep Tissue
This treatment is powerful, helping unravel scar tissue that can wrap around all body areas and is like a spider’s web. Once the techniques are used, the client feels a deep sense of freedom from the restriction the scar tissue can cause. The scar tissue is not just injury sites but also tumours, fibrosis, cysts, and mass of tissue that inflamed and then calcified—ranging from scoliosis to immobile hips, shoulders issues and intestinal constipation or IBS. This treatment not only works on the physical but emotional too.
Energy Massage
Using Holistic, Sports & Acupressure techniques, this treatment helps release tension from the musculature tissue, breaking down knots and increasing suppleness to the tissues. This brings about a profoundly relaxing effect to the body as Simon uses acupressure to stimulate tense areas to let go.
YOGA

Simon has been practicing yoga for 10 years and has developed his own brand of yoga that anyone of any age can take up. Using the breathing method, the body can do more than we think, helped with the expertise of Simon to enhance your yoga experience which will help open up the energy channels in the body and remove the mental stimulation that most people experience on a daily basis. Unwind and relax with this energising and uplifting yoga class.
EFT & Touch for Health
Emotional training is an important step to realising what is causing the letting tension and stress to manifest into the body, whether you are running a programme of self-doubt, self-destruction, not worthy enough or constantly repeating mantras of negative information that you may not be aware of. This training will help you learn how disorders from constipation to cancer can be stored in the body. Using powerful simple treatment techniques we can set in motion the release and ultimately clear stored negative energy patterns.
Meditation & Mindfulness Classes
Over the past ten years, Simon has been developing techniques in meditation and mindfulness that have helped his clients. This 1 hr class explores simple and easy methods in day-to-day life, bringing awareness and clarity of mind. Your thoughts create emotion, whether negative or positive. Using breathing and visualisation Tech & PMR, you will see how this can transform the mind and body’s feelings and allow a meditative, relaxed state of being.
