ST. HELEN’S (2 Trails)
3 Km south of Rosslare Harbour and 4 km North of Carne is the picturesque village of St Helens. The harbour was originally built for lightkeepers and maritime communities who depended on the sea to support their families. A linear coastal path leads you across to Carne Pier and onwards to Carnesore Point all the time, following one of the most exciting and busy shipping lanes in the country. KILMORE QUAY (1 Trail)
Ballyteigue Burrow is one of the finest sand dune systems in the South East. The trail starts at the harbour car park winding through the Memorial Garden to those lost at sea before arriving at the viewing point over Ballyteige Bay. The trail then loops around the dunes bringing you along a grassy path initially and then onto the beach for the return journey. FORTH MOUNTAIN (1 Trail)
Situated just a few km from Wexford Town, the rocky outcrop of Forth Mountain provides a pivotal location for several exciting walks. This hilly area on the outskirts of Wexford Town, characterised by its rocky outcrops, is surrounded by walking trails, trees, grass and wild plants such as the beautiful gorse bush.
